For five beautiful days, South Manitou Island gave us all she had and more as each of us began to design our coaching practices to include nature, the wilds and a little adventure.
And it was not hard to find inspiration
in our environment. This is the view to the Southeast from the beach
just
off our campsite.
Not a bad front yard for five days, eh?
Our mornings were spent in conversation
about how adventure coaching works, ideas for our own offerings and, of
course, breakfast! That's Joelle (far right) taking charge of
breakfast.
But the real reason you want her on your adventure is for her desserts!
I spooned into something with raspberries and chocolate that made me
speechless!
And once you've hired her for your outing, ask her to show you how to
build
big dreams with just a few rocks, twigs and sand.
And, mornings were to enjoy the sunrise
over Karen's new Tilly hat.

Afternoons were all about enjoying our
environment
and completing some individual reflection activities designed to help
each
of us get clear about our own adventure offering. Each day, some of us
hiked the island's interior, some of us kayaked, some of us walked the
beach, we all played, and no one did anything they didn't want to do!
